Changes to my Study Programme

If I had the opportunity to reform the Biochemistry curriculum, my focus would be on enhancing the hands-on experience. I would propose a significant expansion in the number and diversity of labs, ensuring that they closely reflect the conditions and challenges of a real laboratory. This would include not only classical experiments, but also more complex, multidisciplinary projects that simulate situations in the professional world.

I would revise the workload structure to allow more time devoted to experimentation and analysis of results, which would strengthen technical skills and problem solving. In addition, I would seek to establish collaborations with external laboratories and relevant industries to provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

In terms of facilities, it would prioritize the updating and modernization of laboratories, incorporating state-of-the-art equipment and emerging technologies. This investment would not only enrich the learning experience, but also prepare students for ongoing advances in the field of biochemistry.

In summary, my vision for improving the Biochemistry major focuses on transforming it into a hands-on journey, where students not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but also develop the essential skills to excel in real-world laboratory settings.
